16th Michigan Skiing Telefest



JANUARY 2006

The 16th Annual Michigan Telefest will be held on January 12-16 at the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park Hill. Various treats and skiing events are in line for all those who attend. The ski event is sponsored by K2 Ski, Black Diamond, Granite Gear, Crispi, Karhu, Garmont and Cloudveil.

A share of the profits from the Telefest will go to the Friends of the Porkies, a non-profit organization that aims to develop the Porcupine state park. Activities for this 4-day event include competitions, a chili cook-off, tours, clinics and more. Registration for backcountry camping will be available for guests for $9 for four persons.

The following packages were prepared for Telefest guests:

Telefest ‘Complete’ $115 Includes: four ski lift tickets (Thurs – Sun), three raffle tickets, clinics, demos, races, party.

Telefest ‘Not so Complete’$70 Includes: Two Porkies ski lift tickets, two raffle tickets, clinics, demos, races, party.

Season Pass Holders/Party Includes: clinics, demos, races, party and one raffle ticket
