Mt Blackstrap Ski Area

There are not too many man-made mountains in the world, yet Saskatchewan has one at Blackstrap Provincial Park. The mountain, Mount Blackstrap, offers year-round activities from cross-country and downhill skiing to hiking trails.

"Going to build a mountain" was the theme for Saskatoon's bid at the 1971 Canada Games. The mountain now stands as a recreation facility and monument to human ingenuity and determination.
