Pantheon Helisports Heli-skiing in BC 2006

Pantheon Helisports is a new helicopter skiing operation based between Whistler and Bella Coola, British Columbia. Pantheon Helisports has very experienced guides, world-class ski terrain with huge descents, and an easy-access intimate lodge which only hosts 12 guests per week.

Erich Schadinger, Pantheon Helisports’ Operations Manager, has 27 years of experience safely guiding heli-skiing guests in Blue River, BC. As with Erich, the rest of the Pantheon guiding staff are veterans with decades of leadership experience at helicopter skiing operations throughout Canada and Europe. Pantheon’s other guides include Martin Kitzenegger, Robert Reindl, Reinhart Bergerweiss, Victor Masheretti and Hank Giesbrecht.

Powder Magazine says “Pantheon Helisports might just be the most amazing place in the world to go heliskiing” (Photo Annual, 2005). Perhaps this is because the 500,000-acre terrain includes many 1,000- to 1,500-meter (3,250 to 4,875-foot) descents, tree skiing close to the lodge, and runs to suit skiers from advanced intermediates to experts. Or, perhaps it is because none of the runs have yet been named by guests, meaning there are thousands of potential first descents. Or, perhaps it is simply because with so many runs to choose from, and such talented and experienced guides, every day is a huge adventure that will always be remembered, both by you, and by future generations skiing your runs.

Getting to the intimate Pantheon Lodge is as easy and quick as getting to Whistler: guest’s board a private 18-passenger pressurized aircraft in Vancouver and make the one hour flight to a modern airport just one hour from the lodge by shuttle van. If you are tired of the crowded scene at other operations, you will really enjoy the personal service at our relaxed lodge which doubles as a real western cattle ranch. The one on one guest to staff ratio means that your every need is quickly met and every staff member knows your name and preferences.

Pantheon Helisports offers flexible programs to meet everyone’s needs, including three, four, and seven day packages. You may also join us for Family Week, Women’s Week, or even go on a world-class expedition to nearby Mt. Waddington, the highest peak wholly in BC. Our prices are all inclusive (including the flight from Vancouver), and even include an energetic valet staff at the Vancouver airport.
