Sun Peaks Resort is one of the fastest growing destination ski resorts with additional residential subdivisions, hotels and restaurants in development.

Sun Peaks boasts more than 1,000 acres of alpine terrain, with wide open groomed runs and bowls -- all blessed with abundant snowfalls of feather-light powder. Everything from the advanced descents to the beginner slopes is designed with family fun in mind. The runs are serviced by six lifts, including a high-speed detachable quad.

Professional instructors will help visitors get the most out of the mountain, whether it be on skis or snowboards.

Olympic Champion Skier Nancy Greene, Sun Peaks Resort's Director of Skiing, was recently selected as Canada's female athlete of the century by the Canadian Press & Broadcast News. Skiers can spend time on the slopes with Nancy throughout the season.

A new day care center entertains toddlers, and older kids can enjoy cruising in the Sun Kids Ski Camps.

Sun Peaks is just 40 minutes north of Kamloops, serviced by two international airlines and easily accessible by Greyhound bus. Driving time to Kamloops is 3.5 hours from Vancouver, 6.5 hours from Calgary and 5 hours from Seattle.
